Automation and Simplicity

VersaSuite-eHR can help you streamline your practice’s workflow every step of the way.  The system has been designed for quick and efficient use by minimizing keyboard use and mouse clicks.  All exam data can be entered without touching the keyboard.  And when you want to take additional notes, we provide an elegant keyboard-free solution:  integration with SnapDragon's voice-dictation software so that you can direct your time and energy to the patient, not the computer.  You just speak into a microphone, and SnapDragon will automatically transcribe your text into the exam template.

VersaSuite-eHR can also help you code more effectively and accurately.  Because the system automatically calculates, suggests, and posts the correct coding level, you do not have to worry about coding too high and being audited; conversely, our system will not undercode either, and as a result, you will generate higher revenues from the same exams and procedures.  Our E/M coding system is sophisticated enough that it can tell you which aspects of the exam need to be completed to reach the next coding level.

Using our document output system, you will never have to write a letter or document incorporating exam data. With just one click, you can instantly draft a document, which populates the document with all relevant exam data in a fraction of a second.  You can do just about anything with that document - print, email, fax, or save for later review.  And just like the exam templates, the output document is fully configurable - layout, content, fonts, colors, and images can all be manipulated to your liking.

VersaSuite has thoroughly examined the clinical workflow in numerous environments to pinpoint duplicities and bottlenecks.  We found data entry to be among the most repetitive and time consuming process in almost every clinical environment.  Therefore, we introduced a number of 'charting by exception' features to vastly expedite the data entry process.  If, for example, you are performing an annual checkup, there is a significant chance that little has changed since the patient's last annual exam.  If so, instead of reentering all data from last year's annual exam, you can simply load all the values from the last exam or previous exams into the current exam, and then chart by exception - enter only the values that have changed since the last visit(s).  This functionality does not just apply to annual exams, but works across every specialty and template.

VersaSuite-eHR can also set normal or non-normal values to any section of a page or across an entire page.  If you are seeing a patient who is exhibiting textbook characteristics of a given disease or diagnosis, you can set all the measurable data values to the user-definable textbook values and then chart by exception - change those that differ.

Advanced Drawing

VersaSuite-eHR features one of the most advanced electronic drawing systems in the industry.  Our system combines the best traits of paper and electronic health records into a single system.  We know some physicians want the flexibility to free-draw in the computer, so we give them the ability to free-draw.  And we know some physicians want convenience and speed, so we give them the ability to drag-and-drop findings onto the drawing.  And we know some physicians want the best of both worlds, so we give them the ability to mix and match the two on the same drawing.  VersaSuite-eHR also allows you to add commentary, arrows, and annotations to any drawing.

VersaSuite believes that you should never have to memorize confusing ICD codes, so we developed the ability to automatically generate ICD codes from your drawings based on finding and region, whether the finding was free-drawn or drag-and-dropped.  The ICD codes will carry over to other pages of the exam so that you will not have to reenter or look up ICD codes for any findings you include in the drawing.  All findings are configurable and all regions are user-definable.

One of the greatest challenges in the migration to an EHR system from paper charts is the simple fact that the physicians have to learn a new system and interface.  VersaSuite spent hundreds of hours researching and building its templates to be as intuitive and easy-to-use as possible.  But learning a new system, no matter how intuitive, can be extremely challenging, so VersaSuite has developed the infrastructure to import any paper form you have - input or output - and digitize it, retaining every time-saving attribute of our standard EHR templates and output documents, such as charting by exception and data mining.
