Regional Sales Manager


We are currently looking for a Sales Executive to join our team to work out of our Texas based office in Austin, TX.  We are looking for candidates who will enhance our team with enthusiasm, drive and talent.

Job Description

The Sales Executive is responsible for delivering sales revenue from Healthcare Software technologies and services offered to healthcare clients in the U.S.  The main focus of this position is to bring in new business and new clients, with sales goals greater than $2-$3 million in annual revenue. Sales Executives achieve and exceed revenue targets by winning new contracts and orders through prospecting and developing new customer relationships.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Prospecting/qualifying new leads
  • Discovery/demo meetings
  • Administrative/CRM
  • Proposal/configurations
  • Contract negotiations/closing
  • Existing account management
  • Identify and qualify legitimate sales opportunities, providing a consultative and value-added approach to developing relationships 
  • Negotiate contractual terms and conditions, and work with the implementation teams to ensure smooth handoffs 
  • Build a sales pipeline of qualified sales opportunities 
  • Maintain an ongoing relationship with prospective clients, continuously assessing and communicating how VersaSuite can meet their needs 
  • Develop and execute sales presentations to potential clients 
  • Develop and implement sales plans and activities
  • Learn about VersaSuite’s technologies, keeping up to date with the new service portfolio and market trends 
  • Support business development and marketing outreach initiatives, which will require management of all facets of pre- and post-sale responsibilities

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years selling ambulatory care practice management and/or medical records information systems, with a minimum of 1 year of verifiable quota performance
  • Highly motivated self-starters
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Formal presentation skills before small and large groups
  • Demonstrated problem solving ability and negotiation skills (with special emphasis on closing sales), experience managing territories and state-of-the-art products
  • Effective follow-through and time management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Required travel is approximately 30% - 50% of the job
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
